SOBKO, Michael It is with great sadness that the family of Michael Sobko of London, Ontario, announces his passing on Friday, June 1, 2018, with loved ones by his side. Michael was a voracious reader, loved sports, particularly hockey, squash and golf, travelled extensively and appreciated all kinds of music.
Most of all, he cherished his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Glenda; their beloved sons Clayton (Debra) of Penfield, New York and Kyle (Angie Roth) of London; treasured grandchildren Noah, Nathan, Sarah, Hannah and Luke; dear sisters Helen Komar of Florida, Mary Smith (Ian) of Toronto, and sister-in-law Sandra Galloway of Fergus. He will also be missed by his nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place. At Michael’s request there will be no visitation.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 9th at 2:00 p.m. at Highland Golf and Country Club, 1922 Highland Heights, London, Ontario N6C 2T4.
Cheerful attire is encouraged.
