It’s with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Neville “Nev” Blair on February 10, 2021 at the Juravinski Hospital. Nev is survived by his sons Jason, Lloyd and Leslie (Predeceased), granddaughters Marissa and Siobhan; siblings George, Cynthia and those in South Africa and the UK, and nieces and nephews.
Born in Durban South Africa in 1941 to George and Mable Blair, married Priscilla Blair, immigrated to Hamilton in early 1970’s, forged a new life with Connie Power (predeceased common law spouse) and Jessie Power (predeceased mother in law) who both welcomed his sons to Canadian life along with his best friend Joe Power who walked with him on the final road to peace along with Antonia Stek, Nev’s loving sunset partner.
Funeral Services for Nev will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at 12:00pm (noon). Please join the family via livestreaming at http://distantlink.com/dlm53.html, password – Arbor 2020. Nev will be laid to rest at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
