O’NEILL, James Anthony September 30, 1939 – March 8, 2019 It is with heavy hearts, that after a valiant fight, as strong as you were, you are finally home.

Jim passed away peacefully at Juravinski Hospital. Born in the district of Bonhill, County of Dumbarton, Scotland to James and Margaret O’Neill. Loving father of Shari-Lynne (Ken), and Jennifer (John). Predeceased five and a half months ago by their mother (Monica). Dearest Papa of Kelsey-Lynne, Palmer and Adrianna. Immigrated to Canada and started out as an orderly at Henderson Hospital, then went on to become an ambulance driver/paramedic for Fleetwood Ambulance, then went to work as a taxi driver for Yellow Cab where he was fondly known as “The Flying Scotsman”.

Die hard fan of the Montreal Canadians and Celtic Football Club. Treasured big brother of John (deceased), Hugh (Eileen), Duncan (deceased) (Marion), Sandra (Sam, deceased), Andrew (Marie), Lucy (deceased) and David Patrick (deceased). Brother-in-law of Doug (Laurie), Wayne (Sue), Neil (deceased) (Theresa) and Charlene (Doug). Several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews Canada and Scotland.

Visitation will be held at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME, 615 Main St. E. (east of Sanford Ave.), Hamilton on Friday, March 15th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, March 16th at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. Reception to proceed after the service at the funeral home.
