LOWDEN, PETER WILLIAM It is with great sadness that, after a lengthy illness and a hard fought battle with ALS, Peter, in his 55th year, passed away in his home in Niagara Falls on Sunday, June 24, 2018.

Loving youngest son of Beverley and John Lowden, twin brother of Paul (Lisa), brother of Pam (late Thomas) and Patti (Scott). He will be dearly missed by his nieces and nephews Heather and Ryan, Ashley and Cory, Kristyn, Kaitlyn and Kyler as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. Peter graduated from De La Salle and Henry Carr Collegiates in Toronto and Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan where he attended on a full hockey scholarship.

He followed up by playing professional hockey in Germany for 14 years. He returned to Canada and became the owner/operator of Townline Fish & Chips in Orangeville until 2016. As per Peter’s wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of Peter’s life will be held at the Caledon East Community Complex, 6215 Old Church Road, Caledon East on Sunday, July 29 from 11 to 3 o’clock.
