PETRIE, Hilary Emily (nee Fright) It is with heavy hearts that we acknowledge the passing of Hilary in the early hours of Sunday, March 24th. In her 71st year she was peacefully released from her physical bonds with her beloved husband, steadfast by her side.
Cherished wife of Derek Petrie. Mother of Dawn, Shannon and Jaime. Grandmother to Ryan (Ashli) and Connor. Great-grandmother to Grayson and Wyatt. Dearest friend, sister, aunt and teacher. Hilary will be greatly missed and fondly remembered for her warmth, kindness, devotion and passion for life.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, April 6th at 11 a.m. in the morning at Family Church of Heritage Green, 360 Isaac Brock Drive, Stoney Creek.
The family would like to thank the caring nurses and staff at St. Peter’s that shared in her last days. In lieu of flowers family is requesting donations be made to The St. Peter’s Hospital Foundation.
