O’NEIL, Roberta (nee COSGROVE) Born September 6, 1938 to Robert and Jessie Cosgrove in Verdun, Quebec, passed away December 16, 2020. While an only child, she was surrounded by many cousins including Marita Hannon and Barbara Bremner forming a lifelong bond. ]
Roberta is a graduate of Verdun High School and the Motherhouse in Montreal. She leaves behind her husband, Charles (Chuck) O’Neil, her children Jamie Coughlin (Karen Slattery) and Jennifer Taylor (Brian) as well as her grandchildren Ryan, Brittany, Cameron and Matthew. She also leaves behind her O’Neil step-children Sean (Bal), Kevin (Michelle), Marie-Claire (Michael), Brian (Kathleen) and the O’Neil grandchildren, Billy, John, Avery, Justine, Jasmeen, Connor, Holly and Sahara.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated. Respecting the current situation, a private visitation will be held for family and invited guests only. Wearing of masks are mandatory in the funeral home.
