ROBINSON, Ernest “Fraser”With heavy hearts, the family of Fraser Robinson announces his passing on October 19, 2018, in his 90th year.

As Jeanne’s (Roué) beloved husband of 67 years, he will be greatly missed and leaves a lifetime of memories she will forever cherish. Fraser was a strong and independent individual with a quick wit and great love of history, literature, and music. His children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren brought him much joy. Janice (Jan) and Bruce, Brandon (Elizabeth), Glenn (Jessica), Nathan, Brennen, Iain, Logan, and Connor will feel forever grateful for the ways he shaped our lives. Fraser will also be missed by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Berton and Mary Robinson and sister Lesley.

Born in 1929 in Sydney, Nova Scotia, he attended Horton Academy and Acadia University followed by a long and accomplished career in education as a teacher, principal, and superintendent of schools, the majority of this time in Ontario’s Niagara Region. In retirement, Fraser and Jeanne enjoyed wonderful years in the Eastern Townships of Quebec, a heartfelt place for the whole family. His final years were spent in Ancaster.

Celebration of Life at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 1010 Botanical Drive, BURLINGTON (905.527.0405) on Saturday, October 27, 2018 with visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by service and reception.
