ROSS GREER WILLIAMS

ROSS GREER WILLIAMS

WILLIAMS, ROSS GREER On March 24, 2018, at his home, Ross Greer Williams, born on January 24, 1953, slipped away from this world and all who loved him, no matter what. Predeceased by his father, Frank Ross Williams (2003), Ross is survived by his mother, Margaret Frances Williams and his sister, Sharon Jean Williams.

Ross was a sensitive, kind and loving soul, always ready to help others, with a fiercely loyalty towards those he loved – who loved him as strongly in return. He had an encyclopaedic knowledge of music and the artists who performed their music. He also loved photography and was seldom far from a camera until his hands became unsteady.

As he wished, his remains have been cremated and will be interred at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at St. John’s Norway Cemetery on Kingston Rd., Toronto. Ross did not want a formal funeral. The Celebration of Ross’ Life will be held in the Lounge Room at the Paul O’Connor Funeral Centre, 1939 Lawrence Ave. E., from 12 noon to 4 p.m. on the same day.

Each of his friends is invited to participate in “Message in a Bottle” – an opportunity to express either how and what they would have said to him to say goodbye or to relate good times shared with Ross, while we play the tunes of artists he loved the most. Refreshments provided. This is an alcohol-free room.
