BRUNZEMA, Ruth 8/11/1937 – Fröndenberg, Germany 2/26/21 – Toronto, Canada Ruth Brunzema (née Engelhardt) went home peacefully, with family by her side, certain of her heavenly father’s love and of the love of all who were close to her.
She is mourned by her daughter Meta, her son Friedrich, her daughter-in-law Manya, her sister and her two brothers and extended family in Germany, as well as by her many friends. Ruth Brunzema was the beloved and involved Großmutter of Lukas, Anna, and Yannik, and the family matriarch.
She had a career in teaching and pipe organ building and was also a fibre artist. Faith, family and friends were the cornerstones of her life. She will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband, master pipe organ builder Gerhard Brunzema, in a private ceremony.
