SMITH, Valerie Yvette January 26, 1996 – April 6, 2019 Suddenly yet not unexpectedly, we sadly announce the passing of our beautiful Valerie.
Left with eternal heartbreak are her parents Dan and Sharon Smith, daughter Serena, sister Christina (Pete) Lancaster, their children Hailey and Steven, and her big brother and best friend, Dimitri Lavovsky. Cherished granddaughter of Guenter and Karin Monse, Mary Smith, and great-Oma Erna Spohr. Will also be missed by her Tante Jenny and her cousin Natalie (Murdock), as well as many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Special thanks to the Hamilton Police Department for their daily dedication in fighting the opioid crisis, but especially for the kindness and compassion with our sweet Valerie these last three years. Thank you also to the incredible ICU staff at St. Joes for bringing comfort to Val and her family during her last few days.
Cremation has taken place. Please contact family directly regarding funeral arrangements.
