SPENCER, Robert Russell Stanley Passed away peacefully at the Hamilton General Hospital on April 10th in his 93rd year.
Predeceased by his wife Frances in 1974. Loving father to Robert Jr. (Ann), Joanne (Dan) and Dean (Elaine). Proud grandpa to Courtney (Phil), Kaileigh, Chelsea (Aaron), Matthew, Brendan, Spencer, and Alyssa, and great-grandpa to Ava and Brayden. Predeceased by his parents and his siblings.
Robert served in WWII with the Nova Scotia Highlanders (North) and was stationed in Hanover, Germany following the war. He was retired from John Deere Canada after a long career.
The family wishes to extend their thanks to the wonderful staff at the Hamilton General Hospital for their care over the last nine weeks.
Friends will be received at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME “Swackhamer Chapel” 195 King Street West, Dundas on Sunday, April 14th from 2-5 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, April 15th at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Grove Cemetery, Dundas.
