UPSON, E. Dorene (nee Ireland) September 17, 1946 – March 14, 2019

It is with heavy hearts, that after a valiant fight, as strong as you were, you are finally home. Dorene passed away peacefully in the early morning surrounded by her loved ones. Dorene was the beloved wife of David Hennigan. Much loved mother of Beth Bissonnette (Roger), Larry Oliver, Shelley Kinzie (Chris), Julie-Ann Spence (Jamie). Cherished step-mother of David John Hennigan (and family), Dawn Hennigan (Mike), Debbie Ireland (2015). Predeceased by her parents James and Edna Ireland. Loving sister of Ed Ireland (2015) (Linda Lindsay, 2016), Marvin Ireland (Carol). Predeceased by her mother-in-law Helen Hennigan (Gil), sister-in-law Colleen Maracle (Larry) and Rosemary “Susan” Missett (Ken). Dorene will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, great-grand- children, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
A private cremation has already taken place. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. with a reception to follow – all are invited to join the family on Saturday, March 23, 2019, at MARLATT FUNERAL HOME, 615 Main Street East, Hamilton.
