ADCOCK, VERA (nee SCHOLTER – known as BASS) October 2, 1929 – February 2, 2021 It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Vera. Loving mother to son Paul (Ginny) and daughter Denise (Gilbert). Proud Nana to Sara (Michael), Alison (Mark) and Katie (Aaron).
Vera was blessed with 6 great-grandchildren who she adored (Rachel, Isabella, Emilia, Sophia, Aidan and Norah). Survived by her sisters Brenda and Barbara and her brother Ernie (Angela). Dearly loved by the Stephens family, her family in Canada and England, Vera spoke often of her special memories of her years in the U.K. Vera was a warm and caring person who was devoted to her family. She made everyone around her feel special and at ease.
She will be dearly missed by all. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank you all for your support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Toronto Humane Society or the Canadian Cancer Society.
