PAJGER, Vera It is with profound sadness that the family of Vera Pajger (née Dimitrijevic) announces her passing unexpectedly on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at the age of 93. Vera is survived by her daughters Nena von Bogen (Thilo), Mira Stefanovic (Petar), grandson Misa Stefanovic (Heather), granddaughter Vera von Bogen-Cormier (Chris); great-grandchildren Victoria, Alexander, Marko and Mila. Predeceased by her beloved husband Jaroslav, brother Zivko and grandson Marko.
Vera and Jaroslav moved to Canada from Belgrade, Serbia in 1985 to be close to their children and grandchildren. Vera was a strong, devoted and loving mother, aunt, grandmother and ultimately great-grandmother, loved and respected by many and sadly missed by all.
Friends may call on at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. West, at Windermere, Sunday, October 14th, from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, October 15th at 1:00 p.m., followed by interment at Park Lawn Cemetery.
