JONES, WILLIAM “BILL” December 3, 1932 – January 7, 2019 Passed away peacefully on Monday, January 7, 2019 at Scarborough Grace Hospital at the age of 86.
Beloved husband of the late Catherine “Kay” Jones. Dear father of Craig, Lori and the late Stephen Jones. cherished grandfather of Andrew.
Bill was many things: an awesome grandfather (most patient video game watcher ever), a caregiver, a sports lover, a hockey parent, a gambler, a print salesman, an artist, a great dancer and a kid at heart. While we were growing up, the kids in the neighbourhood would often knock on the door and ask if Mr. Jones could come out to play.
Our thanks to the EMS workers and the emergency room staff at SGH for the care given to our dad.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Canada would be appreciated.
Private family memorial service to be held.
