WRIGHT, Irene It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Irene Wright on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at the age of 98. (Predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Gordon A. Wright in 1991)
Irene lived, married, and had her first child during WWII in England, then immigrated to join her husband, along with two children, to live in Canada for the next 65 years. She lived a long, courageous life being the mum of seven children during these years.
Irene will be forever remembered by her children, youngest to oldest, Chris, Andy (Cheryl), John (Mary), Darlene (Heather), Judy Vorstenbosch (Jerry), Stephen, Gordon (Barbara). Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Jacob, Joshua (Genna), Brandon, Christopher, Amy (John), Andrew (Christina), Marc, Jeremy (deceased), Jason (Karen), Laura (Ryan), Chrystal, Michael and Shawn. Great-grandchildren Keagan, Benjamin, Nicholas, Jack, Alivia, Myla, Ramona, Rhiley and Nolan. Irene will be lovingly remembered by her sister in England, Laura Brightmore and her family.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
