Xavier Alfredo Villada

XAVIER ALFREDO VILLADA (June 1, 1960 – April 3, 2019). It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing after a long illness of Xavier Villada, more affectionately known to his family, friends and colleagues as X and X-Man.

Beloved partner of Susan Baldaro for 30 years and brother of Alexandra Gellman and her husband David. Predeceased by his parents Yolanda and Javier Sr. and brother Gabriel. He will be fondly remembered by Sue’s family, including her mother Anne, brother Paul and wife Phyllis, sister Sarah, and sister-in-law Darlene. He will be deeply missed as the fun uncle by all his nieces and nephews: Evelyn, Megan, Matthew, Brenna, Luke, Julia and Michael. X touched everyone he met with his kind heart and big smile.

X worked many years in the film and television industry. His other passions included travel, photography, guitar and the culinary arts. With X’s newly refined and amazing chef skills, he loved to prepare special meals for his family and friends, from simple to festive, and his fabulous cinnamon buns were a particular favourite. He was an avid gardener, curler and golfer, and made numerous friends on the greens and curling rinks around Toronto. X also loved nature and had a flair for creating an enchanted space for the cardinals, blue jays, woodpeckers and any other feathered friend. If you hear a bird chirp, see a flower bloom or taste a butter tart, think of X.

Graveside Service Tuesday April 16 2019 Time 10:00 am Resurrection Catholic Cemetery please meet at the Cemetery Office 355 Taunton road Whitby Ontario
