ZIMMERMANN, Ursula July 6, 1918 – January 4, 2019 Our dear mother emigrated from Hannover, Germany in 1955 to Hamilton. She celebrated her 100th birthday with four generations of family at her favorite locations Mandarin (Barry), her home (a lifetime of memories – her art, animals and travel) and her family cottage.
Predeceased by Franz Zimmermann (1912-2012) their life experiences were monumental to all visiting ears. Ursula leaves three sons Lothar (Sharon), Uwe (Pat), Berni(Linda); three grandsons Jason (Marlow), Ian (Maritta), Eric (Amanda) and six great-grandchildren Justin, Kaela, Tessa, Laci, Eli and Ben.
With Dr. Kaplan’s attentiveness and some home care she enjoyed her home till the morning she passed. We know that grieving relatives in Germany will be reflecting on her life with us. We mourn, proof that even a long life is too short!
Family will receive friends at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Ave. E., on Wednesday, January 9th, from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. in the chapel. Interment to follow in Mt. Hamilton Cemetery.
