SEIFERT, Ada Lillian (nee GEORGE) Ada Lillian Seifert (nee George) was born in New Harbour, Newfoundland, on September 16, 1920 to Llwellyn and Emmie George. Ada’s earthly journey ended on September 2, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Health Centre, Guelph, Ontario. Ada was predeceased by her husband Clarence and daughter Verna, sisters Edith Cranford and Florence Smith and brothers Clarence and Herbert George. Ada and Clarence resided in Toronto for over 40 years. She was a very active member of the Anglican Church of the Advent. She also worked and retired from Sears after many years. Ada also resided at St. Hilda Towers in Toronto, the Village of Arbour Trails in Guelph and finally at St. Joseph’s Health Centre in Guelph, Ontario. We wish to thank all those who cared for Ada over the last few years with a special thanks to Michelle and staff at Enhancing Lives. Left to mourn her passing are nephew Ken Frank (Dianne), Catherine and Aurora Frank, Brian Frank (Keiley), Gregory Frank, great-niece Joan Baldeh (Pah), Tejan Baldeh of Hamilton and numerous nieces and nephews in Newfoundland and Ontario, as well as her many friends. A gathering of family and friends will be held on September 30, 2017 with a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. at the Gilbert MacIntyre Funeral Home, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, Ontario. A reception will follow the service with interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice, in memory of Ada.
