ADAMS, Lucy Eileen (RN) Passed away peacefully at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, January 10, 2017, in her 76th year. Forever in the hearts of her husband, Dennis and her children John and Greer, Greg and Sue, Kevin and Wendy, Patricia and Arnaldo. Cherished Nana to her grandchildren Jack, Kiel and Jordan; Jaime; Ashley and Nicholas; Megan, Natasha, Mikayla and Savannah. Devoted sister to Barbara and Peter and Joan, Bruce and Nancy. Loving aunt to Roberta and Frank, Richard and Mena, Patrick and Carol and Mary-ann; Jason and Mara and Lisa. Part of the graduating class of nurses of St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton (1960), Mum’s vocation as an O.R. Nurse spanned 42 years for which she was still very active on the Executive Committee for their Nurses Alumni Association. Her first love is for her family. She enjoyed celebrating birthdays, tending to her roses and being at the cottage. Though she will be sadly missed, our hearts are full. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church (196 Kenwood Avenue, Burlington) on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lucy’s name made to Juravinski Cancer Centre or a charity of choice would be appreciated by her family. www.dermodys.com
