FUSCO, Adele (nee Spetrini) 1929-2017 Peacefully surrounded by her family, Adele passed away on October 20, 2017 after a brief illness. Adele will be greatly missed by her loving husband of 68 years, Vincenzo, and grateful children Pat Fusco (Patricia Marshall), Tony Fusco (Michelle Fusco), and Lucy Diogo (Joe Diogo). She was a devoted sister and sister-in-law of Pasquale and Bianca Spetrini, Lucia Spetrini, Annita and the late Luigi Pucci, the late Antonio Spetrini, Dorina and the late Luigi Cino, the late Allesandro and Maria Spetrini, and the late Michele and Iolanda Fusco. The memories Nonna has created will be treasured by her grandchildren Stephanie (Christopher), Michael, Melissa, and Olivia. Zia “Lina” will be lovingly missed by her nieces and nephews, as well as many cousins and friends in Canada and Italy. Adele will be remembered for the passion she had for her family, her delicious home cooking, and her warm and generous spirit. Visitation at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James) on Tuesday from 3-5 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 3:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Saint Lawrence the Martyr Parish, 475 Mary Street, Hamilton at 10:00 a.m. Entombment to follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hamilton Food Share would be greatly appreciated by the family to honour Adele’s legacy of showing love and compassion in the preparation and sharing of meals.
