Passed away peacefully on August 17th, 2017 in her 85th year. Predeceased by Parents and her many Brothers and Sisters. Survived by Loving and Devoted Husband of 57 years, Joseph. Loving Mother of Dorinne (Wayne), Sylvia (Sterling), and Raymond (Anja). Wonderful Mamère of Aisha, Kelsey, Emily, Samantha, and Mathieu. Adelia will be fondly remembered for her vivacious personality and passion for life. Going for walks, sewing, baking, indulging in a few sweets, and making the world’s best meat pies are just a few of the many things Adelia will always be remembered for. Amongst many of her life achievements, Adelia’s beautiful hand writing paired with her very steady hand, allowed her to the honour of engraving the Stanley Cup, something she spoke of proudly. However, above all else, Adelia was most proud of her family whom she adored beyond words. She will be deeply missed by many of her extended family and friends in Robertville (New Brunswick), Montreal, and Bathurst (New Brunswick). A very special thank you to her Doctor, Maria Del Junco for her unwavering compassion and care. Also, thank you to the incredible staff at Toronto Western Hospital for their generosity, genuineness, and care during her time there, it does not go unnoticed. Family and friends will be received at the JERRETT FUNERAL HOME (1141 St. Clair Ave W., one block east of Dufferin St.) on Monday, August 21st, 2017 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Clare’s Catholic Church (1118 St. Clair Ave W.,) on Tuesday, August 22nd, 2017 at 11:30 am. Private cremation to follow.
