ALAN EVANS Peacefully at London Health Sciences Centre – Victoria Campus on Sunday, August 21, 2016, Alan Evans of London in his 85th year. Beloved husband of the late Eva Evans. Cherished father of Wayne and his wife Linda of Barrie, Lynn and her husband Ronald Harvey of Huron Park, Steven and his wife Janet of Scarborough and Sherry and her husband Joe Botelho of Brampton. Loving grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather of 10 grandchildren, 11 great- grandchildren and 1 great-great- grandchild. Alan will be sadly missed by many family and friends. Friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton St.), on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 from 7 – 9 p.m. and on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Evans Chapel on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor David Snihur officiating. Interment to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Friends who wish to make donations are asked to consider the London Regional Cancer Centre.
