BOLTON, Alexander (Sandy) —

May 2, 1942 – March 16, 2017

After a courageous battle with cancer, it is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandy Bolton. Loving partner to Rose, caring father to Craig and Heather (Michael). Admiring grandfather to Dalton, Tanner, Dannica and Liam. Sandy will be missed deeply by all of us, including his sisters Joy and Hazel, predeceased by his older brother, Sammy. Sandy will be remembered for his polite, quite ways and his subtle humour. He will always be highly regarded for being awarded the Queen’s Gallantry Medal when serving as a police officer on the Royal Ulster Constabulary (R.U.C) prior to immigrating to Canada in 1977. An informal (open house) celebration of his life will be held on March 25, 2017 (2-5 p.m.) at Rejeanne’s: 700 Balmoral Drive, Brampton. (Rose would like you to wear green in honour of his missed St. Patrick’s day – his favourite celebration of the year). Give generously to the Canadian Cancer Society .
