CHRISTIE, ALEXANDER Alexander Christie July 25, 1924 to July 3, 2017 is survived by his loving daughters Janet and Nancy Christie (and Paul), his grandson Michael Alexander Hill (and Nelly), his granddaughter Madelaine Werier (and Joel), his great-grandchildren Kevin, Benjamin, Rachel and Samuel. Alex was predeceased by his loving first wife Anne of over 20 years and his beloved wife Ruthie of over 45 years and his younger brother George. Alex lived in Toronto all his life, retired as Director of Consumers’ Service at North York Hydro and went on the become an assistant to the Minister at Lansing United Church for many years. Alex was a kind, honourable, patient and steadfast man who will be well remembered and dearly missed. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 13th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at R.S.
