ANGELINA”YUEN NGO” LAW

ANGELINA “YUEN NGO” LAW A longtime resident of Toronto, passed peacefully on Sunday, June 11, 2017. Born in 1927 in Singapore, Angelina tragically witnessed the World War’s Asia Pacific atrocities firsthand. Rising beyond that pain with the resolve to ease the suffering of others, she dedicated herself to the nursing profession, advancing to a senior staff role prior to her immigration to Canada in 1967. While she never married, family was always important to her and she remained close to her siblings and cousins, travelling often and sharing local and exotic vacations with many of them. One of Angelina’s most memorable trips took her into the Holy Land, serving to further strengthen the Catholic beliefs and core values she had built over her lifetime. She is survived by her cousin, Bernard Law in Vancouver, along with nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces around the world. We will remember a generous and patient soul and her loving influence will continue to be held in the hearts of everyone who knew her. She will always be missed. A Memorial Service will be held in the evening of June 20th at the Chapel Ridge Funeral Home in Markham
