ANITA SHAPIRO (nee BAZAR) On Friday, August 12, 2016 at Mackenzie Health Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Robert Shapiro. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Jacqueline and Ian Mills and Debra and Richard Bowyer. Cherished grandma of Rosalind and Dave, Alec and Sari and Tara and great-grandma of Jack, Matthew, Eliezer, Kayla and Yehonatan. Anita was born in Richmond, England in 1919 and was married to Bob for over 72 years. She was the kindest, most caring person, who saw goodness in everyone and was liked by all who met her and loved by all who knew her. Anita was a beautiful, intelligent, inquisitive woman whose greatest joy was her family, to which she was completely devoted. She instilled values in her daughters that allowed them to have happy marriages and loving families of their own. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Anita didn’t want anyone to be sad when she died, just to have happy memories and we truly will. Memorial donations may be made to The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation. –
