ANNETTE BRIDGET GERTRUDE BODI (nee DUGGAN) February 18, 1937 – April 7, 2017 Died peacefully at home after struggling for some time with declining health. It seems she welcomed the invitation of an angel; for which, we’re grateful and very sad. It won’t be easy to forget her big smile, warm heart, intent glare and sharp tongue. She came from – and created her own – wonderful family. Annette is survived by her children Michael (Sue), Kathleen Galea (John), Joseph (Lisa) and Peter (Lianne) and her grandchildren Alexander, Kyle, Courtney, Gabriel, Patrick, Daniel, Melissa, Domenic, Thomas, Nathaniel and Kevin. Predeceased by her parents Michael and Anne Duggan (nee Shrubsole) and siblings Marie Lavergne, Paul Duggan, Sheila Boase and Patricia Fulford. We are very grateful and fond of her care staff Lisa, Heather, Zarida, Tashi and several others at Canterbury Place. Visitation will be at Delmoro Funeral Home, 61 Beverly Hills Drive, April 10th from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. and April 11th 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral service at St. Philip Neri Church, 2100 Jane Street, 10:00 a.m. April 12th.
