FILICE, Attilio Peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Willowgrove Nursing Home on February 21, 2017 in his 84th year. Beloved husband of the late Giovina Nina (nee Brunone). Loving father of Santo and Karen, Frank and Sandra, Suzy and Silvio Napoleone. Cherished Nonno of Elaina, Nicholas, Olivia, Luke, Sophia, Paige and Jade. Adoring son of the late Santo and the late Assunta Filice of Italy and son-in-law of the late Angela and the late Salvatore Brunone of Italy. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Ernesto and the late Maria Giordano of Italy, Barbara and Stano Berlingieri of Hamilton, Lidia and Eugenio Fortino of Hamilton, Palmo Filice of Hamilton, Eugenio Filice of Italy, the late Umberto and Vincenza Brunone of Italy, Nina and the late Santo Brunone of Windsor, Antonio and Lisa Brunone of Edmonton and the late Mafalda and Paolo Mauro of Edmonton. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends in Canada and Italy. Attilio was a longtime member of the Donnici Social Club. He retired from L.I.U.N.A Local 837 as a member with over 57 years of service. Resting at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton St. E., on Friday, February 24 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Vigil prayers on Friday at 3:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Anthony’s Church (830 Barton St. E.) on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
