ATTILIOMARIN

ATTILIO MARIN It is with the deepest and most profound sadness that our family announces the passing of Attilio on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at the age of 85. Reunited with his beloved wife Giuseppina. Loving father of Eddy and his wife Ornella. Cherished nonno of Marco, Michael and Matthew. Attilio will be fondly remembered by his extended family and friends. As a young man, he immigrated to Canada pursuing a life of new opportunities. Together with his wife, Giuseppina, he forged a life of strong family ties and the value of hard work to succeed in life. He proudly dedicated and devoted 40 years to his work at Dufferin Construction where he retired in 1996. He loved seeing and spending time with his grandchildren, his “cowboys”. We will miss his presence, his smile and good humour, and we will forever cherish our memories of him. We would like to thank so many people for their encouragement and support, especially Selvia, his caregiver for her continuous love and care. “A life well lived is a legacy, of joy and pride and pleasure, a living, lasting memory our grateful hearts will always treasure.” Friends will be received at The Scott Funeral Home, “Woodbridge Chapel”, 7776 Kipling Avenue, Woodbridge, on Wednesday from 2 – 4 and 6 – 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church, 8500 Islington Avenue, Woodbridge, on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. Entombment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Should you desire, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
