Peacefully, at home on August 13, 2016 at the age of 77. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Lyall Howlett (1989). Lovingly remembered by sister Nettie Vyse of Listowel, brother Jim Kaplanis (Marlene) of St. Thomas and sister-in-law Pat Kaplanis of Windsor. Predeceased by brother John Kaplanis and sisters Dean McLaren and Penny Thornicroft. Sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and their families. Dear friend of Bridget and John Hart and Nancy and Joe Fellows. Visitation will be held at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge St. (at Goulding, south of Steeles) on Monday, August 15, 2016 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel.
