Barbara M. JOHNSON
Of Guelph, almost a month before her 81st birthday, after a brief illness, at Hospice Wellington, March 9, 2017. Predeceased by her husband Arthur F. (2008). Mother of Bryon (Mary), of Brampton, Barbara Lee, of Guelph, and David (Lynda), of Brampton. Grandma to Cassy and Adam. Born in Guelph, Barbara met Arthur in Guelph, and married. After Arthur’s retirement from a successful real estate career (with Barbara’s help) in Brampton and Georgetown, in 2001 they moved back to Guelph for good. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the 6th floor staff at Guelph General Hospital, and the staff at Hospice Wellington for their compassionate care in Barbara’s final days. In keeping with Barbara’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has already taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations to any of the Foundation of Guelph General Hospital, Hospice Wellington, or Canadian Cancer Society in Barbara’s memory would be appreciated by the family.
