BARBARA WALSH It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Barbara on May 28, 2017 at Stratford General Hospital. She will be greatly missed by family, friends and colleagues. Barbara leaves behind her dear husband John Walsh, her loving brothers and sisters Patricia (Michael) Paterson of New Hamburg, Sylvia (Allan) Marley of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, John Gentles of Augusta, Georgia and Brian (Kate) Gentles of Surrey, England. Paul Gentles (deceased). She was truly loved by her many nieces and nephews and extended family in Dublin, Ireland. Also remembered by her sister-in-law Christine Gentles. Barbara was born in Ireland and grew up in Jamaica. She established her career in Toronto as owner of Compass Rose Travel. She was a devoted member of the Leaside United Church and was involved in many fundraisers. A Celebration of Life will be held at Leaside United Church, 822 Millwood Road, Toronto, on June 10, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Leaside United Church or Nithview Community Home in New Hamburg.
