BETTY MAY HOOD March 8, 1928 – April 22, 2017 Resident of Pickering, Ontario. Passed away peacefully in her home at the age of 89 with her family by her side. Betty was married for 67 years to her late husband, William John Hood, who passed away on January 22, 2014. Survived and loved by her children Bill (Debbie), Dennis (Shirley), Kelly (Gerard) and David (Nicole) and treasured grandchildren Amberly, Ashley, Tammy, Krystal, Jamie and Mason and cherished great- grandchildren Alyssa, Nolan, Chloe, Keenan, Madison and Brandon. Known for her spirited personality, great sense of humour and willingness to help those close to her. A celebration of life will be held privately for the immediate family.
