BEVERLEY JUNE SMITH (nee SOLWAY) 1930 – 2017 In loving memory of Beverley June Smith (nee Solway), who died on April 25, 2017 in Oakville at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Francis Eugene (Gene) Smith, predeceased in 2003. Loving mother of Stuart (wife Christine) of Burlington, ON and Robin (partner Mike) of Sudbury, ON. Lovingly remembered by grandchildren Daniel (Heather), Melissa (Shawn), Carolyn (Steve), Jessica, Rachel (Mike) and Mary. Proud great-grandmother of Carter, Marissa, Colton, Alexa, Matthew, Kyla, Ryan and Caleb. Dear family friend of Jenny (Joe). Dear sister of the late Alva (Wesley, predeceased) of Victoria, BC and Doris (Gordon, predeceased) of Stratford, ON. Remembered fondly by her many nieces and nephews. Lifelong friend of Betty and dear friend of so many others. Beverley’s love enriched so many people’s lives, across her many circles of friends, including bridge clubs, church communities, choirs, NALACo friends and schoolmates, among others. She truly put others before herself and helped her loved ones grow into the people they are today. She will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held at St. Jude’s Anglican Church, 160 William Street, Oakville, ON L6J 1C5, on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at 3:00 p.m., followed by a reception in St. Jude’s Church Hall.
