BRIAN B. WEBSTER Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on February 28, 2017 in his 85th year. Brian was dearly loved by his family and friends and will be sadly missed by all. Brian shared a wonderful life with (Lillian) Margaret, his wife of 62 years and their daughters, Leigh and husband Bruce Verge, Blair and partner Brian Rowe and Gayle and partner Annelise Samson. He was proud of his loving grandchildren, Matthew Verge and wife Leigh-Ann, Justin Verge and Emma Arnot, Shawn Paterson and Tiffanie McDougall-LeBlanc, Daniel Newton and Sarah Perna, Jeremy Newton and Mae Fortades and Rebecca Newton and Evan Harben and Maija Newton, great-grandchildren, Kayleigh, Braelin, Jack, Myles, Ryder, Everett and Linkin. Predeceased by his grandsons Jason Verge and Andrew Paterson. Loved dearly by his family in England, sister Gail and husband Vic Cope, Jenny and Pete, Jackie, Nicole and Emily. Brian was best known for his great sense of humour. He had a wonderful career of 48 years in the confectionary industry. Brian had a passion for jazz, Formula One racing, hockey and NFL football, sharing good wine and food with family and friends, Chloe his puppy/4th daughter, travelling with Margaret, but most of all spending time with his family and sharing many happy years and celebrating lots of milestones at the cottage on Morrison Lake. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the DODSWORTH & BROWN FUNERAL HOME “BURLINGTON CHAPEL”, 2241 New Street (at Drury Lane), Saturday, March 4th, from 10 a.m., until time of Memorial Service at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society would greatly be appreciated.
