CELEEN LOI Passed away at Hill House Hospice in Richmond Hill on Saturday, May 13, 2017, age 77; of breast cancer. Wife of the late Jackson Loi, mother to Jonathan and Leanne (Jerry) Chinn, grandmother to Naomi and Jocelyn. Sister to Richard, Henton, Tamsie and Hennie, with numerous cousins, nephews and nieces. Celeen Loi (nee Hung) born in Sophiatown, Johannesburg, South Africa. Attended Damelin College before marrying April 1965 and immigrated a year later to Toronto. Worked as a Stenographer and later, helped run Thornhill Square retail store Hobby Shack. Was a deacon in Richmond Hill Christian Community Church and Sunday School teacher, later joining Unionville Oasis Church. Utmost appreciation to the staff at Hill House Hospice for the love and care provided to Celeen. The Funeral will be held Saturday, May 20th at the Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, 211 Langstaff Rd. E. (west of Bayview Ave.), Thornhill, with viewing from 9-11 a.m., service at 11:30 a.m. followed by burial and lunch reception.
