CHALECKI, Ronald Surrounded by his girls on August 29, 2016 in his 68th year. Beloved husband to the late Lynda (2015). Loving father to Leanne (Andy DeCola) and Erin Gullis (Jamie). Adored Grampy to Ben and Max and Olivia & Jake. Dear brother to Laura and Bill Hulkowich and Lily and the late Walter Gasparik. He will be dearly missed by all his extended family and many friends. Ron retired in 2002 from Dofasco with over 33 years of service. He was a member of various photography clubs in the Hamilton/Burlington area. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Zbuk and the team at Juravinski Cancer Centre and also to the wonderful staff and volunteers at the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice for their compassionate care and support. The family invite friends to celebrate Ron’s life with a memorial gathering at the CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Ave. E. on Thursday, September 1 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Cremation has taken place.
