CAFAGNA, Chiara It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Chiara at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Friday, March 3, 2017 surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Giuseppe for 64 years. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Lucia and Vincenzo Suppa, Rita and the late Mario Filice, Anna and Calogero Guagliano, Maria Cafagna, Nicoletta and Richard Foster, Nicola Cafagna and Piera, Vito and Lucy Cafagna, and Joseph and Carmelina Cafagna. Cherished sister and sister-in-law of Maria and the late Rocco Cataldo, and the late Anna Cafagna, Serafina and the late Vito Battista, the late Pietro Battista, and Filomena and the late Michele Montecalvo. Predeceased by her parents Francesco and Rita Battista and in-laws Nicola Vito Cafagna and Lucia (nee Bradonisto) Cafagna. Adoring Nonna of Anthony, Joseph, Domenico and Rosa Suppa, Peter, the late Joseph and Emilia Filice, Nancy, Chiara, Josie, Sammy, Natalie and Grace Guagliano, Luigi and Christina Ballrano, Matthew and Ryan Foster, Celina Cafagna, Lucas and Matthew Cafagna, Joseph, Celeste Cafagna and Samuel and Domenic Marrone; and bisnonna to nine great-grandchildren. Visitation at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton St. E. (near James) on Tuesday from 2 – 4 p.m. and 5 – 9 p.m. with Vigil prayers at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Anthony of Padua on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Mountainview Gardens Cemetery, Stoney Creek.
