PERRY, Christena (nee Kerr) Passed away suddenly on Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at North York General Hospital, at age 88. Beloved wife of the late Allan for over 50 years. Loving mother of Brian and his wife Candy, Kevin, and Kelly and her husband Cameron Bowie, and mother-in-law of Kathleen. Cherished Gramma of Michelle, Geoff, Max, Kirsten and Connor. Predeceased by her brothers Orland, Raymond, Aubrey and Harold Kerr. Chris was a longtime active member of Lansing United Church running their Nearly New shop. She was a retired Medical Clerk at the Ministry of Transportation, an avid knitter, gardener, Guide leader and foster parent and above all, an amazing Mom and Gramma. She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her family, friends and neighbours. Special thanks to Les and Sally for all the time they spent supporting and caring for Mom. Visitation will be held at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge St. (at Goulding, south of Steeles) on Sunday, October 1, 2017 from 3-7 p.m. Funeral service in the Chapel on Monday, October 2, 2017 at 10:30 a.m., with reception to follow.
