CHRISTINA SAWKA It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our wonderful Mom on Monday, September 5, 2016 at the age of 89. Predeceased by her husband Harry (1999) and her daughter MaryAnn Lymburner (2006). Much loved mother of Kevin and his wife Bea of Lindsay and David and his wife Jeanne of Brooklin. Loving Gramma of Christina (Jamie), Karen (Vince) and Scott (Sunita), Mark and Johnathon. Great- Gramma of Jessica, Matthew, Makayla, Brianna, Ava, Sarina and Leah. Survived by her brother Norman Quinton and his wife Alice of Belleville and predeceased by her brother Gordon. Remembered by her sister-in-law Margaret of Burlington. Resting at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N., Whitby, from 2-5 p.m. Sunday (September 11th). Funeral service will be held in the Barnes Chapel Monday afternoon (September 12th) at 1 p.m. In memory of Christina, memorial donations to Brooklin United Church would be appreciated.
