Cinzia LOOSEMORE (nee Di Cesare)
LOOSEMORE, Cinzia (nee Di Cesare) After a courageous battle with melanoma, it is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Cinzia at the Juravinski Hospital on January 27, 2017 in her 48th year. Beloved wife of Glenn for 15 years and loving mother to Eric and Michael. Cherished daughter of Ciro and Eufemia Di Cesare, in-laws Brian and Rose Loosemore, loving sister of Guido Di Cesare, sister-in-law of Christine and special Zia to Marcus and Julia. Everyone knew Cinzia was around by her infectious laughter and brilliant smile. She was always ready to capture life’s moments, one frame at a time, with her creative eye. Sunset shots were a must with many including her beloved boys. She squeezed the most out of each day always looking for ways to create memories with her family. Glenn, Eric and Michael were the true loves of her life and her many scrapbooks are a testament to this love. As Cinzia would often say “Always remember life is for the living!” Cinzia will be sadly missed by her many Zia’s and Zio’s including Isolina and the late Elso Peressini, Giovanna and the late Mike Mascarin, Yolanda and the late Pietro Pettinelli, Nino Scarlino, Cecilia and the late Biagio Ferrara, Sergio and Teresa Di Cesare and their respective families, cousins, and close friends in Canada, Italy and Venezuela. Cinzia will also be missed by her extended family of Aunts and Uncles including Grant and the late Barb Loosemore, Gayle and Jerry Honaizer, the late Mary and Jim Hands, Ruth and the late Tom Ferns, Isabel Cinquegrano and their respective families. Special thanks to Paola Peressini, Eleonora Spagnolo, Cristina Page, Tracy Sherk, and Helen Shing for their constant love and support at her bedside. She also leaves behind amazing life-long supporters (and their respective families), such as Linda and Heather, as well as many friends, co-workers, and her fun loving hockey family. We take comfort in knowing Cinzia and her best friend Vesna are now re-united and enjoying a “Cuba Libre” on the beaches in heaven. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 from 6-9 p.m. and Wednesday February 1, 2017 from 12 noon-2 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers on Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church, 304 Highway #8, on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery, 681 Mud Street East, Stoney Creek, with a celebration of life reception thereafter. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Cinzia’s memory to a charity of your choice.
