BLACKWELL, David It’s with heavy hearts we announce the passing of David Blackwell in his 87th year, at home with family by his side. Beloved husband of Esther Blackwell (nee Anderson) of 62 years. Loving and cherished father of Morag Kinson (Paul) and Fiona Kennedy (Brent). Ever loving Papa to Ashley and Jordan Kinson. David and Esther immigrated from Glasgow, Scotland in 1957. David was a retiree of Greening Donald after 34 years of service. He was an active member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Ancaster for over 50 years. David was a man of integrity and faith. He was a family man, an animal lover, outdoorsman and athlete – completing 13 marathons including the Boston Marathon. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
