DEBORASPENCE

DEBORA SPENCE It is with profound sadness that the family of Debbie (Debora) Spence nee Brockie announces her passing on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at the far too young age of 45. She will be deeply missed by her loving husband Jeremy, her son Adam, two daughters Emma and Dayna and step- daughter Brianna. Predeceased by her father Derrick Brockie. She is survived by her mother Beverley Brockie, siblings Janet (Scott Larmer), Darren (Jennifer Miller) and Craig (Allyson Bourke), mother and father-in- law Judy and Tony Spence who are all heartbroken. Debbie was a favourite aunt to her nieces and nephews who will all miss her immensely. Debbie’s family was most important to her, providing unconditional love and we are all blessed and grateful to have had her in our lives. Debbie was a proud OPP Officer for 9 years and it was thanks to this career she met Jeremy, the love of her life. A career change from policing to a successful Business Owner allowed her to be involved with her very active family. A heartfelt thank you to Tammy Hennessy, her best friend and earth angel who was always there for Debbie while battling sarcoma for the last 4 years. Debbie found peace knowing her husband and children will be a tremendous source of comfort and love for each other and will have the support and love of extended family and friends. A funeral service will be held at Cookstown United Church on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow. For those so wishing, memorial donations to Matthews House Hospice, Alliston or Sarcoma Medical Oncology Research Fund, Princess Margaret, would be appreciated.
