CHARLTON, Dorothy Anne Passed away at the Hamilton General Hospital on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 in her 79th year. Beloved wife of Allen for 60 years. Much loved and devoted Mother of Randy and his wife Wendy and Barbara DiFilippo. Cherished Grandmother of Carrera (Ryan), Elizabeth, Kurtis, Ethan and Great-Grandmother of Abby. Dorothy was a proud long time resident of Stoney Creek and enjoyed giving back to the community that she loved. She was an honorary lifetime member of the Hamilton Stoney Creek Figure Skating Club and a past president of the Winona Peach Festival. The family wish to thank the nurses, doctors and staff at the Hamilton General Hospital for all of their kind care. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME , 36 Lake Avenue Dr., Stoney Creek on Monday from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Mountview Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
