Dorothy MacDONALD (nee White)
MacDONALD, Dorothy (nee White) Passed away peacefully on June 23, 2017 at the Parkview Nursing Centre in Hamilton, Ontario in her 84th year. Can now be reunited with her beloved husband John (predeceased in 2015.) Dorothy is survived by her children, Peter (MaryJane) Michael, Heather and Christopher; her grandchildren, Matthew, David, Joseph, Aaron, Aubrey and Chelsea; and her great-grandchildren, Capri and Everett. She will be missed by many other friends and relatives. Dorothy was a long time employee with Dare Foods. In addition to her love of music and reading, Dorothy was an avid card player. A special thanks to the thoughtful and compassionate staff at Parkview. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOMES, 796 Upper Gage Ave. (between Mohawk and Fennell) on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers will be held at 8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Charles Garnier Catholic Church (129 Hughson St. S.) on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Internment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Good Shepherd would be greatly appreciated by the family.
