CHAPPELL, Douglas Phillip July 18, 1931- September 11, 2017 It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Doug on September 11, 2017 at the Michael Garron Hospital at the age of 86. Beloved husband to Stella for over 52 wonderful years. Doug was proud to serve with the 48th Highlanders Cadet Corp & Reserve. He will be lovingly remembered by all who knew him. Family and friends will be welcomed to the Giffen-Mack Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 2570 Danforth Avenue, at Main St., Subway, for a visitation on Sunday, September 17, 2017 from 12 noon – 1 p.m. Service to start at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
