ED (EDWARD) FARMER
After a long and happy life, Ed Farmer passed away peacefully at Rouge Valley Ajax and Pickering Hospital on August 22, 2016 at the age of 94. Ed will be fondly remembered by Nan, his wife of 59 years, sons James and Neil (Alison), grandchildren Caroline, Danielle and Jeff, nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceasing Ed were his sisters and brothers Amy, Christine, Len, Bill, Clifford and Patrick. Ed worked at the Scarborough Public Utility Commission (SPUC) for 32 years retiring in 1987. Services will be held at the McDougall & Brown Funeral Home – Scarborough Chapel, 2900 Kingston Road on Tuesday, August 30th with visitation at 10:00 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Salvation Army would be appreciated.
