RODEL, Edgar Lawson “Ted” Passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Monday, May 22, 2017 in his 99th year. Predeceased by his parents, Wilfred and Mary, and his sister, Eleanor. Beloved husband of Gwen for 70 years. Loving father of Brian (Flo), Keith (Betty), and Chris. Cherished grandfather of Jason (Diana), Kerri (Dan), Jennifer (Neville), and David (Stacey). Treasured great-grandfather of Abbey, Baden, Luke, Cooper, Stella, Lawson, and Sofia. Ted served in World War II for five years, serving overseas with the Algonquin Regiment. He was proprietor of Ted’s Sunoco Service for 30 years and well known throughout the city in several locations. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be held at St. Michael’s Anglican Church, 1188 Fennell Ave. E., on Saturday, May 27, 2017 from 10 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. www.dermodys.com
