EDITH LETITIA SHARP (nee BROWN) July 18, 1916 – March 15, 2017 Peacefully entered rest with the Lord, from The Salvation Army Meighen Manor, on Wednesday, March 15, 2017. Cherished mother of Gordon Sharp (Janet), Marilyn Britton and Donna Colley (Ken). Will be sadly missed by her brother David Brown and son-in-law David Moore. Predeceased by her parents Annie and George Brown, husband Bernie Sharp, eleven brothers and sisters and her daughter Nancy Moore. Lovingly remembered by nine grandchildren, eleven great- grandchildren and one great- great-grandchild. A celebratory funeral service will be held at Yorkminster Citadel of The Salvation Army, 1 Lord Seaton Road, Toronto (Highway 401 and Yonge Street), on Saturday, March 25th at 11 a.m. with visitation beforehand from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Interment in the Glendale Memorial Gardens (Highway 27 and Albion Road, Etobicoke), will follow the service and light refreshments. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Salvation Army Yorkminster Citadel Corps – Special Projects would be appreciated. Well done thou good and faithful servant!
